It's for the Truk,

there's a pair,

they're made out of 2x2",

they're not very pedestrian friendly

Pretty much right  I'd hoped to get it done & on by now... Just slapped some chassis paint on it and i'm hoping to spray satin black over it- don't want it too shiny now do i !!

Here's some 'in progress pics'
The shape sort of came as i started building it- i just couldn't get my head round how i wanted it to look so i nailed the 1st bit of 3x2 to the old mounts.
I realised it was all sticky-out at the ends so cut it off and put in a couple of bends.
Image
I made the 2 short uprights so i could put the 2nd tube parallel.
This is how it was at the Meet the other night.
Image
I started playing around with overrider/ cow catcher-type bits then and i've ended up with a much smaller and neater design than i'd intended.
This is the back of it. I've used the original mounts which bolt to the chassis ends but because the chassis had cracked from the stress of the old bumper, i brought the overriders under and back so they bolt to the underside of the chassis too.
Image
I might add more to it yet, i'll see how i feel once it's painted and bolted on and i can walk around it a bit!
