No problem Ged, His stuff is first class, he does manifolds too... He built this one for a mate of mine>>>
Haha just wishfull thinking Doug... I've got first refusal on it 'IF' (and it's a big if) i can raise the cash...
If she were mine i'd first of all chuck those hideous corsa wheels in the nearest skip in favour of a set of Cragars or other period style rims (maybe slotmags eh Doug ), then the suspension would need major attention as he reckons she wanders badly under braking (that'll be cos of the stupid lifted rear end throwing the castor angle waaaaay out). Then I'd be fitting my rover V8 and 3 speed auto instead of the iron boat anchor thats in it now which as Adrian pointed out is 2.5 litres, the V8 would get an induction cowl or scoop of some kind.
The paint i was thinking would be matt black for now... like these>>>
Hope you approve

Hey Dean, street sleeper material there mate. What about a 16 v astra engine k-member brain & loom or bin the loom & fit a pair of 45 dcoe webbers or a v-tech honda in there. I like the matt black look, It doesnt have to be a V8 to win the race.
Mmmm a jag irs would look cool under there. Or you could buy a 360 mopar engine from Ritchie & a narrowed 8 3/4 off db Food for thought

I thought about 16v but i've never had a car with a v8 in it.
I like the turbo red top but i see the commodore as a cruiser rather than a thrash machine specially with an auto fitted too.
I dunno what to do for the best... Think i'll chuck the Viscount on ebay and see what happens...
