Well 70's Yanks are out of my range anyway!

Unless you can find someone who's done that exact swap you'll never be sure.
2 choices- buy the mans 'Engine Swapping Tips & Techniques' book and hope it covers your plan.
OR- try it and if it don't fit, make it fit!

you'll never get that in to the lada, or is it for the nisan or the fiesta, or the 100E or the hillman or the ruby or the truck mmmm...................
I'm sure you told me the other week you were going to get ONE car sorted..................I should have known better  SEVEN cars and none of them on the road.... only kevin would try and fix SEVEN cars at the same time.

PS have you taken your dads wheel barrow back to him yet or is that another project???

you know how all this started off as I wanted a manual box in the truck, and all the poncho manual boxes were really $$$?

well, I just bought a pontiac manual bellhousing, flywheel and clutch for pennies - balls!!

flipping typical!!!

- kev

hmm, caddy bellhousing is BOP - 500ci lump on a 3spd manual box anyone??

it'll fit paul, haven't you read

'the hot rodders guide to fitting caddy engines to pontiac boxes'?? (bellhousing has flywheel and clutch - can you imagine if it fitted!!!??!?!)

going for the 'roadtrip' tomorrow, see y'all monday

hopefully with a pair of straight 6's, a gearbox, bellhousing, a sbc and th350 and some laurel and lada bits

(and with a lot less crapola in the lockup!!)

wish me luck!! - kev

EEEEEEEEEEEEEErrrrrrrrr, is it me or .....

I'm sure taking one engine & box out of your truck and returning with three engines, two gearboxes, one bell housing and a cash of parts for a lada and a loral plus a truck that now lives in the lock up instead of on your street equates to MORE 'crapola'????????????????????????
